Laboratory presentation:

The center CEA of Saclay, located in Saclay South Ile-de-France, is a research and innovation site leading at national and european level. It's characterized by a wide diversity of its activities which goes from basic research to applied research.

The Materials for Nuclear Department (DMN) includes three research departments (SEMI, SRMA, SRMP). Thoses departments are located in several building divided in the CEA center of Saclay.

The DMN is led by the head of department Philippe CHAPELOT. Management is provided in close connexion with the three head of departments and their deputies and also project managers operating transversely between services.

CEA and GENESIS:

The CEA is one of the partners, member of consortium of EQUIPEX for future investments GENESIS.

At the CEA/DMN, three scientific teams fall within the scope of GENESIS: the Focused Ion Beam Microscopy Helios Nanolab 650 (ANR funded), the Focused Ion Beam Microscopy Zeiss Auriga nuclearized (ANR funded), and the Atom Probe Tomography CAMECA LEAP 4 000 X HR (CEA funded).
